Most websites beg you to pay exorbitant prices so that the greedy server hosting companies don't shut them down.
For this reason, mojavesoft.net is self-hosted; no greedy hosts here!

Mojavesoft doesn't need money urgently, but it doesn't make any either. Yet, everything on this website (excluding this page) is payment-free.
As much as I would like to cover this website with ads and stuff it with cryptominers, doing so would ruin the user experience, so I've decided on a compromise:

I won't add any ads (except occasional non-intrusive, non-personalized recommendations), and I will not perform cryptomining on your computer.
I will use Google Analytics to analyze my site's popularity, but I will not publish your personal info without your consent.
I will occasionally remind you in a non-intrusive manner to donate to my website. You will stay anonymous to the maximum extent supplied by your payment method.

How to donate

For privacy reasons, I only accept Monero, Bitcoin, and cash at the moment. If you are in physical contact with me, slip me a five-dollar bill. If you don't know me or don't have cash, just send a small amount of Monero to 83oxY3P8FHtiQasuK7yyo3MYAGVzAzoTvS3bj2b4KRuxWJXiY87vEP5jVbshvtBtmHXjwDgkYGkKHJMp64XKkuVxNAmzTgS. Refund requests will not be honored; once your donation is sent, it's not coming back.

If you would like to send me Bitcoin, send it to bc1q0kcs8w6h4xfzy88j3frdj859asz9w60n92t9gt. Refund requests for Bitcoin may be honored if the amount sent is substantial and it is possible to prove the refund request is authorized by the sender. Refunds will be sent to the address from which the Bitcoin was recieved for security reasons.

Note that during the conversion to Monero, some of your donation might be lost. If you'd like to prevent this from happening, use Monero or cash.
